A high class, spring wedding at Westwind Hills

On April 20th, I had the joy of documenting Ryan & Claudia as they said “I do” in front of their closest friends & family. This wedding holds extra close as two summers ago, I was introduced to the bride’s family when shooting her sister Chloe’s wedding. In the time that has passed, I’ve been welcomed back by their family time & time again to photograph milestones of every kind. To be there, capturing the long awaited wedding day of Claud & Ryan… what a treat it was!

The ceremony & reception was held 40 minutes outside of St. Louis in Pacific, Mo, at Westwind Hills. From the very beginning, the couple’s vision was for their wedding day to be a true event. The dress code was black tie, with a high emphasis on spring floral gowns for the women. As for the wedding party, the ladies were dressed in blue & white anthropology dresses. And for the groomsmen, The Black Tux provided their wears. Bloomin’ Buckets arranged stunning all-white bouquets & arrangements that beautifully complimented the patterened gowns & tablecloths. “The guests will serve as decor themselves” was something Claudia told me at their engagement session… & that they did. If I gave their wedding a superlative, it would absolutely be Best Dressed.

The ceremony done by Claudia’s brother-in-law, speeches given by candlelight, family style dinner by Ces & Judy’s… & a packed dance floor thanks to The Dirty Muggs. April 20th is a day we won’t soon forget!
